Audiophysical is Andre Lamb, New Zealand born multi instrumentalist, producer and visual artist. Strongly influenced by hip-hop and beat head culture of the late 90's, Lamb began producing music in the early 2000´s, alongside his audio visual work. This focused on a blend of skateboarding and abstract cinematography set to Dj Krush and swathes of the Ninja Tune catalogue.

Broadened influences and experiences over a few years and a vibrant new scene in Wellington NZ exposed Lamb to vintage instruments and an array of open and talented musicians. Joining a 10 piece band, the opportunity to perform and record became available and Lamb started to create his own samples and style of beat making.

Lamb fuses genres like Blues, Jazz, Funk and Folk into a flawless combination of sounds, taking the listener into uncharted territories. Lamb has a rare way of crafting special introspective moments into his music by creating a deep and moody feeling through his rich instrumentations. With his beautiful arrangements and his prowess on various instruments, he always delivers music from the soul and mind. If you ask him for his vision he would answer: ‚It is one of cinematic beats and lush melodic instrumentation fused in a dusty analogue setting.’

‚Allusion’...is what comes out of a creative mind like Lamb´s. A blend between Hip-Hop, Dub and Jazz influenced music with a galactical touch to it, having many friends and guests involved, playing instruments or putting vocals on his music like the french rapper FONZ. Belgium, Spain, Germany and a long list of cohorts brought Audiophysical into different phases and studio times and his later life in Berlin gave Lamb a greater insight into what he wanted from his music...what can be heard soon.
